What We Require

  • License where required

    Hold any contractor license the city or state requires for your trade, and keep it current.

  • General liability insurance

    Carry active general liability coverage. You show proof of insurance after you're approved.

  • Workers' comp or an exemption

    Carry workers' compensation coverage, or provide a valid exemption where your state allows one.

  • References

    Have references from contractors or builders you have worked for recently. We ask for them in the follow-up application.

  • A written safety program

    Follow OSHA fall protection rules (29 CFR 1926.501) on every job, with harnesses, anchors and training for your crew.

    Short follow-up application

    Tell us about your crew. If it looks like a fit, we'll email you a short application to add references and photos of recent work. Insurance and W-9 come later, once you're approved.

  3. Step 3

    Intro conversation

    We talk through scopes, quality standards, safety expectations and how scheduling works.

  4. Step 4

    Paperwork and first job

    Once approved, we complete the subcontractor agreement and line up a first job when one fits your crew.
