How to start a claim
The claim is always between you and your insurance company. These steps help you open it with the facts in hand:
- Photograph the damage, inside and out, from the ground or another safe spot.
- Call your insurer’s claim line (listed below) or use its app to report the damage.
- Get an independent roof inspection so you know what is damaged before the adjuster visits.
- Write down your claim number and keep it with your photos and notes.
