What’s the Advantage of a Metal Roof?

Metal Roofs Are Long-Lasting

Metal roofs typically last two to three times longer than asphalt shingle roofs. The average lifespan ranges anywhere from 40-60 years. For many homeowners, a metal roof may very well be the last roof they ever install on their home.

Metal Roofs Are Durable

Another advantage of metal roofing is its durability. What this means is that you end up paying less over time for your roof because it will require fewer repairs. In fact, most high-quality metal roofs are almost never in need of maintenance.

Metal Roofs Are Beautiful

We think that many of the metal roofing options available today are absolutely beautiful. They come in a variety of shapes, colors, and styles, making them an attractive option for homeowners seeking a unique look for their roofs.

Types of Metal Roofs We Install

Aluminum Roofing

Aluminum roofing is known for being durable. Not only is it fire-resistant, but it’s also wind and impact resistant. As a bonus, most aluminum shingles also have seven layers of paint and primer. It’s also environmentally friendly, so it can be recycled when the time comes to replace them.

Copper Roofing

Copper is known for its beauty and strength, making it a wonderful material for roofing. It has high thermal conductivity, so it will keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The material is also incredibly resistant to rot, hail, and fire. As long as you take care of your copper roof, it will likely last longer than you’ll live in your home.

Steel Roofing

Steel is energy-efficient, recyclable, lightweight, durable, and fire-resistant. It’s easy to install, which contributes to its affordability. It is also highly customizable, allowing you to make it look like many other roofing types. Manufactured in giant rolls, it is then coated with either zinc or zinc-aluminum to protect it from oxidation.

Corrugated Metal Roofing

Corrugated metal is prefabricated, making it a cost-effective choice when it comes to metal roofing. It is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, durable, and easily transported. Corrugated metal directs water off of your roof making it an excellent solution for sheds, barns, and other outdoor buildings.

Standing-Seam Metal Roofing

Standing seam roofs are the better choice for residential homes and buildings that want a polished look. The standing seam is an aesthetic feature that also protects its fasteners. Because the fasteners are not exposed, the roofing stays strong over time. There are a few different seam types available, each with its own advantages based on your needs.

Great company! They were very responsive, professional and thorough. Fast service—They Installed the roof just a couple days after we signed the contract. Cleanup was exceptional. We needed new gutters and they made arrangements with another … More company to install the gutters. We were very pleased. We highly recommend this company. We loved working with Jeff. He kept us updated on every step of the project.

I hired Integrity Roofing and Painting after I flagged Ken down on the street as they were wrapping up on a neighbors house. Ken was extremely helpful, supportive as we struggled with what was to us a large purchase, and was responsive … More even when I asked him questions on a weekend as I made my decision. He was patient and allowed me my space to make the decision and then once I made it he walked me through the process, made sure I understood everything (along with the fact that to him Integrity really was what he valued), and then kept in constant communication with me as we scheduled, and then finally installed. The crew that showed up were amazingly hard workers and did everything they could to get done as quickly as possible. They cleaned up so well I haven't found anything but a super small piece of paper that got away and ended up hidden in the bushes. To me that is amazing because it is a lot they have to manage as they rip off the old roof. Ken checked in often with the crew and myself for the 1 day and 2 hours they were on site. That is fast, we had a large roof (I don't remember what the number of squares, but it was large). So fast crew, conscientious crew, great communication and great finished project.Services: Roof installation, Skylight installation

During the sale of my home, I was made aware that my roof needed to be replaced. The closing was scheduled for 3 weeks out so time was limited. I used Integrity to perform an inspection and confirm the damage. Integrity not only met with … More the Inspector, but relieved my concerns by walking me through the process and assured me that they would expedite the installation. They did an amazing job! Myself and the new homeowners were completely satisfied. I would highly recommend them and use them again ~Deb WieczorekServices: Roof inspection, Roof installation
